Are you happy on Monday's?

Updated: Jan 1, 2019

Here are my major takeaways from the August happy on mondays event. They "envision a world where everyone is following their inner fire" and choosing "happiness as a lifestyle" in order to live your best life.

If you aren't excited to kick start your week, maybe this is a sign to pause for a moment. Take the time to reflect on why you're feeling this way and how you can fuel that inner fire.

LORI SMITH, COMMUNITY MANAGER PREVIOUSLY AT ONE ELEVEN

* Build community as a growth strategy for building a business

* Do random acts of kindness to build community * Celebrate each other's successes * Learn and work with each other * Focus on your goal and stay on that path * Become acquisition focused to build revenue and customers * By leading break the ice type meetings, you can source topics to co-lead to instill value and consistency for your meetings * Create consistent and sustainable engagement to continue the cycle of community

JULIE WHISH, CULTURE SPECIALIST AT UBERFLIP / HAPPINESS ENTHUSIAST OF THE BLOG, HEYJULES

* Being a boss babe isn't being your own boss (babe)

Entrepreneurship isn't ALWAYS the answer. You can love your full-time job and that's completely ok! *Fall in love with the process * Turn choosing to have a horrible moment in your life into good vibes instead * Have the confidence to get back out there when things don't go your way or as you planned it to be * You don't owe anyone anything - do you! * Take time for yourself - self care is super important* "When you can be anything, be kind"

BRANDI LEIFSO, CEO & FOUNDER OF EVIO BEAUTY GROUP

* "Chasing happiness is foolish"

It's difficult to be 100% happy, 100% of the time. Use failure and innovation to recreate that happiness and success again and again. * Be realistic yet optimistic* Create small intentions that will grow into something bigger* The key to maintenance is resilience

"It's not a lack of resources. It's a lack of resourcefulness."

You can achieve so much by building up the strengths of yourself and those around you. By being innovative and creative with how you develop yourself and/or your business, you can definitely attain success. Let's get social!
