Benslyne Avril of Therapy with Empathy is a values-driven speaker and service provider focused on meaningful client experiences and vulnerable, human-centered storytelling. Before we worked together, she had built her own website and had all the core information in place, but it felt visually and strategically limited. She didn’t have the time or design expertise to evolve the look, structure, and brand expression to match her true vision and the level of experience she delivers and wanted to expand into an additional revenue stream with her speaking engagements.
the challenge?
The biggest challenge was translation: turning a clear internal vision into a confident, elevated outward-facing brand and website. While the content existed, the design, storytelling, and visual identity didn’t yet reflect her depth, care, and professionalism or support her goals for more bookings and speaking engagements.
my unique approach & solution
We solved this through a focused VIP Design Day focused specifically on website design, user experience, and visual storytelling. In one intensive working session, we restructured the website to better reflect her voice and values while making the experience clearer and more intuitive for visitors. We elevated the visual direction, strengthened the storytelling flow, and implemented clear calls to action so key information and booking pathways are easy to find and act on. The result is a confident, conversion-friendly website that feels aligned to her vision and makes it simple for the right clients and speaking opportunities to engage. She has since been featured on CTV News Ottawa, CBC, Radio-Canada, CFRA and Rogers TV sharing her expertise.
